Straight answers about Enrichment Care, the NDIS and what to expect from your supports.

About Enrichment Care

What does Enrichment Care do?

Enrichment Care provides NDIS core supports to people with disability across Australia. Our support workers help with personal care, community participation, life skills, cleaning, meal preparation and transport, and we match each person with a worker who suits their language, culture and personality.

Where does Enrichment Care provide support?

We support NDIS participants in every state and territory. Our office is in Surry Hills, Sydney, and in other areas we recruit and match workers who live near you. Coverage depends on finding the right worker, so call us and we will check your suburb.

How do you match me with a support worker?

We start by learning about your needs, routine, language, culture and interests. We then send you profiles of workers who fit, and you meet your preferred worker before any supports begin. If it does not feel right, we keep looking.

What languages do your support workers speak?

Our carers come from more than 30 cultural and minority backgrounds, including workers who speak Burmese, Chinese and Korean. Tell us your preferred language and we will do our best to match you with someone who speaks it.

Do you support people with complex needs?

Yes. Our team has experience supporting people with complex support needs, mental health conditions and people with histories of criminal convictions. We work alongside families, support coordinators and the person's other providers.

Can I switch to Enrichment Care from my current provider?

Yes, and we make it simple. We help you through the change, including your service agreement, and match you with a worker before your supports move across so there is no gap. See our guide to changing NDIS providers.

Does it cost anything to talk to you?

No. Calling us on 1300 543 123 or sending an enquiry is free and there is no obligation. Supports you choose to receive are funded through your NDIS plan under the NDIS pricing arrangements.

NDIS basics

How do I know if I am eligible for the NDIS?

You generally need to be under 65 when you apply, live in Australia as a citizen or permanent resident, and have a permanent disability that substantially affects everyday life, or need early intervention. Try our eligibility checker.

How much NDIS funding will I get?

There is no set amount. The NDIA decides funding based on your support needs and goals, and what is reasonable and necessary. Our support hours calculator shows how many hours of support a budget can cover.

What can I use NDIS funding for?

NDIS funding pays for supports related to your disability that help you live day to day and work towards your goals. Core supports cover help with daily living, consumables, transport and community participation. Read what the NDIS is for an overview.

What are NDIS core supports?

Core supports are the most flexible part of an NDIS plan. They help with everyday activities, disability-related consumables, transport and taking part in your community. Funding can usually be used across the four Core categories unless your plan says otherwise.

What is the difference between core and capacity building supports?

Core supports help you with daily living now. Capacity building supports fund things that build long-term skills and independence, such as support coordination or therapy. Read more in our guide to capacity building funding.

Can I use my core budget for different supports?

Usually, yes. Core funding is flexible across Assistance with Daily Life, Transport, Consumables and Social and Community Participation, unless parts of your plan are stated or fixed. Check your plan or ask your support coordinator.

How much do core supports cost?

Prices are set by providers within national NDIS price limits. In 2026-27, standard weekday daytime support has a limit of $73.58 an hour. Evenings, weekends and public holidays have higher limits. Try our hours calculator.

During your supports

Can a family member be present during supports?

Yes, if the participant wants that. Some people like a family member nearby, especially in the first few shifts. We follow the participant's wishes.

What happens if my worker is sick?

We let you know as early as possible and offer a backup worker, ideally someone you have already met. You can also choose to reschedule instead.

How do I give feedback or make a complaint?

Call 1300 543 123, email admin@enrichmentcare.com.au or use our feedback and complaints page. You can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
